West Central Texas Council of Governments - Area Agency on Aging is seeking applications for a full-time staff Ombudsman. Work involves explanation of residents' rights, relevant state and federal rules/regulations, and assisted living facilities and nursing home rules/regulations to residents, families, and facility staff; assisting individuals in resolving dispute situations and investigating complaints; preparing and submitting reports to the State; and training and supervising volunteers. Graduation from a four-year accredited degree program in social work, business or a related field is preferred.
