Job Description: Assists Regional Director with these core services: Helpline Provide I & R and care consultation to callers Provide follow-up to callers Work with other chapter staff to review, update and expand community resource information on an ongoing basis Support Groups Recruit, train and monitor volunteers to facilitate family support groups Fill in as the support group leader as needed Education Programs Develop and implement education programs for caregivers and professionals Coordinate and manage logistical details involved in putting on seminars and conferences Safe Return Educate consumers about the Safe Return Program Be available by phone after-hours and on weekends, as scheduled , in the event of a wandering incident Serves as primary staff responsible for these services: Early Stage Support Group Interview and screen potential participants and their families Coordinate meeting logistics; promote service; recruit and train volunteers to assist Facilitate scheduled meetings Provide activities
