Landscape Gardener Department: Office: Location: physical resources acu abilene, tx Position: Landscape Gardener For the purposes of ACU’s Background Check and Self-Reporting Policy, this position is classified as security sensitive Full Time/Non-exempt The key principles of this job are to: 1. Support ACU’s Mission: Educate students for Christian service and leadership throughout the world. 2. Support ACU’s 21stCentury Vision: By 2020, ACU will become the premier university for the education of Christ-centered, global leaders. Scope: Responsible for the landscape and interior & exterior of buildings, and other associated areas. Reports to Physical Resources. I. Basic Responsibilities: * Works as directed by the immediate supervisor and/or Landscape & Grounds Manager of Physical Resources. * Maintain flower beds, ground cover, interior plants, and other areas associated with ACU landscape. * Assist other trades and grounds personnel as needed in spirit of cooperation and team work.
