1964 FORD Galaxie 500 Convertible Produced for SUN STAR AMERICA 1/18 th scale This die cast beauty was released to the public 01-01-2000, release #1420. The car is painted FORD’s Ragoon Red sporting an all red interior with lots of chrome. The steering wheel horn ring, door panel inserts, door/window handles, floor transmission shifter, rear mirror, bucket seats trim, and dash panels are all chrome. The center console is outstanding in the interior of this model. Period correct white sidewall tires and the 3 bar spinners are on this model. The chrome windshield molding, vent windows, fender turn indicators, side mirrors, and chrome down the full length of the model are impressive. The massive front grille and the rear truck and bumper assemblies are beautiful chrome, also. The hood and doors open for your inspection. This model is such a beautiful car with its low look and wide stance and all the ‘red’ knocks your eyes out, and would make an exceptional addition to your collection.
