Double D Design Custom Studios Custom Coil and Leaf Bowl ~ 10 x 11 inches, 3 inches deep This serving bowl has a real organic feel with the leaf print inside and the construction mainly of coils--like the indians did. The bowl was made by Ami Whiteside daughter of the noted West Texas artist Angel Whiteside. This bowl was handmade from longhorn red clay and glazed with turquoise glaze and clear glaze for this one of a kind look. Ami is a Chef but still loves to play with clay, especially in dinnerware sets. Her work really varies from her mothers, but, her true love is creating in the kitchen. Ami also taught pottery to children for over two years and my son was one of them. The Whitesides are like family and do not have a website so we list for them at no additional cost - what you pay here is the same cost at the studio.
