Pictured are three hatchlings from my 2008 Coastal Carpet python pairing. They are all feeding on frozenthawed rat pinkies. The first two are males PD082 and PD085 and the last is a female PD089. Pictures of the parents can be seen on my website The history of the Dam and Sire of this clutch is as follows The Dam was purchased from the Barkers at VPI over ten years ago as a Port Douglas locality Coastal. The Sire is an offspring of the Dam from her 2004 clutch. I have not been able to confirm the locality and it may be that the description was originally given to these Coastals due to the similar appearance of Coastals from Port Douglas. There have been no known crosses of subspecies into this line and I have every confidence that these are indeed pure Coastal Carpet Pythons something that is hard to find these days.
