I am going to be a junior at Hardin- Simmons University, and I am working toward a major in psychology and a minor in english. I have a passion for english, literature, and the written word in general. Throughout high school and into college, I have been blessed with tremendous instructors. I consider myself to be rather knowledgeable when it comes to literature and language. I am a member of Sigma Tau Delta, which is the national english honor society. I am also a very strong swimmer, and have been swimming since I was five. My mother insisted on enrolling me in swimming lessons until I was thirteen, at which point I moved on to swim team for a year. Last semester I became Red Cross certified as a life guard.
